Valley Oak Oral Surgery provides surgical treatment for those needing specialized care. We offer a range of services including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and I.V Sedation. However, we do not provide services for root canals or TMJ (jaw joint) issues. More information on the services we offer can be found on our 'Servies' page. Please speak to our front office regarding insurance limitations.

Do you take walk-in patients or are you require a referral from my dentist?

Valley Oak Oral Surgery requires a referral from your dentist to ensure coordinated and specialized care for all surgical procedures.

Do you provide consultations before the surgery?

Yes, we offer comprehensive consultations to assess your needs and discuss the best surgical options for your specific case. At your consulation, you will have a panoramic xray taken, an in depth evaluation of your specific case, and we will review your insurance coverages and out of pocket estimate for treatment.

What should I expect during the recovery period after oral surgery?

Recovery times can vary; however, most patients experience some swelling and discomfort that subsides within a few days post-surgery. It is normal to have some spotting during the recovery period, but please contact our office during office hours, or the docotr number that is provided on your post op instructions if your are still having extreme discomfort of bleeding. We can further instruct you on what step to take next, or bring you into the office  to take a look. If you have lost your post op instructions, please download a copy from our forms page.
